We had contacted our MP about the status of our application. She had said the embassy was waiting for the new medical results. However, my husband re-did them Nov. 4th, 2011. We contacted the doctor and we know that they arrived at the Paris office one week after doing the test. Should they not be in our visa office (Damascus) by now? What should we do about this? We did give them a copy of our green slip from the doctor when my husband had his interview (Nov. 24th) since the immigration officer said they only needed a copy and he added it right to our file before our eyes. So we know that they know my husband re-did it, but the results have not arrived yet. What could be wrong? Is it possible to ask the doctor to re-send the results?

Really? Thanks for your help Smiley
Since when we called they said 4-6 weeks. And it's been over 2 months now since my husband re-did them so I was worried they were lost...

your welcome,,,nah their not lost,,just takes time b 4 they get them,, I found the link where it say's it takes 3 months,,mind you it can happen that the embassy gets them sooner  Smiley but this is their time frame,,hope this helps  Smiley

For temporary resident (visitor, student, worker) applications, it normally takes 2 to 4 weeks after your medical examination before we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application.

For permanent resident applications, it normally takes 3 months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Designated Medical Practitioner before we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application

I think that means once they get them, it will take 3 months before you hear something.
The problem with ours is that the embassy hasn't gotten the results from the Paris office and it's been more than 2 months  Huh
