I am sponsoring my common law who is an Argentine national. We both live in the US, but his application will be processed in Argentina.

So here is my predicamente, he has two children in Argentina, one 16, one 19.
The 16 year old refuses cooperate and will not go get a medical done.
I assume this will obviously hurt my case, is there anything I can do?
Any advice???

Super frustrated and stuck, basically because of this our application is at a stand still.  Angry

Hi, I don't think it will be a big problem to you if you don't plan to have the kid coming with you.

Does your partner have the right of guardianship or it's belong to his ex ? If it was belong to his ex, then just write a letter to CIC about the situation. As I know, sometimes later, CIC will ask both of you to sign an agreement that you know you will not be allowed to sponsor this kid in the future.
