medicals for dependants

Could someone help me answer this question, I will be applying from canada with my husband for sponsorship, but will have 3 children back home that will not be coming to canada to live as they want to stay with there father, and also if they need medicals will my daughter need one also she is 19 years old but living with her fiance and they have a child together, its all very confusing, and also when I have my medical could I be refused because I am asthmatic, not a severe asthmatic I have never been hospitalized or anything or had any severe attacks but I do need puffers to control it,I have had it all my life and it has never stopped me from doing anything, many thanks

1.  The two children should be listed as non-accompanying and they must have medicals.
2.  It should be explained that the 19 year is not a dependent as she is in a c/law relationship.
3.  There is no excessive demand bar for sponsored spouses, your asthma will make no difference.

Sponsored spouses and dependent children means that if they have a condition or disease that may cause excessive demand on the social or medical system in Canada, they will not be refused.  For example, lets say a sponsored spouse has cancer, and would require oncoming treatment, intro viral drugs, chemotherapy which are very expensive in Canada.  If it was any other category of Immigrant, other than a sponsored spouse, they would be refused.  If a spouse, they would be admitted.
