Ok I just got a email from Buffalo Consulate that says that my file is under final review by a immigration officer my AOR date was November 5th.  Can anybody tell me about maybe when I might hear from them?  Does anybody have this similar situation or had this situation.  I'm very anxious now.  And can see the light at the end of the tunnel, any comments would be great....

Thanks,,,

Hi,
Definitely it is a good sign. Be optimistic. You can hear the final decision soon! Good luck

I have my fingers crossed, I think that my medicals were the last bit of information that I needed to send them.  And they just confirmed that they have all my stuff medicals have been confirmed and that a immigration officer is doing the final review of my file.  So i'm gonna say it could be any week now?  If I had a approval before the end of next month I would be very happy.  Just so anxious now, who knows it could be any day.  I had to fight with them about confirming my medicals and contacting Ottawa and getting them to make sure Buffalo had my medical information.

My advice to anybody is to stay on these people if you want your file to not get lost in the shuffle.  Because if I had not of started to email them and ask about my case I would not know anything.  And i'm sure I would have gotten a letter saying my medicals have not been received and then it would have been a longer delay.  So stay on your case keep asking questions, sending emails or whatever you gotta do so they continue to work on your case.

Hey, has anybody gotten to this stage where they say the immigration has the file for final review and you should hear something in the near future.  If so about how long did this part take?  Just curious......
