Hello... i am new here, i have applied in March 2011. my visa center was originally in Damascus with my file later transfered to Warsaw V.O in August.... in early December 2011 i received an email for medical request which was done for all three members of my family and the DMP sent the results on 19 December.... I am still waiting for the next step...... noting that my e-cas address has disappeared for couple of weeks early January 2012, but personally i think this coincided with the BFD for the deadline to send the medicals and not necessarily that a change in the case is happening..... My question is that when they sent an email for the MR, i was not told to pay the RPRF, which i have not paid till now..... do i have to wait for them to ask for it or pay it now... is it normal that its not asked for at the same time of the medicals, does it come together with the passport request......do i need to call the visa office to check when to send it, and when do you think they will request the passports....
The other thing is that when i did my medicals there were some Red Blood Cells in the urine, which i have known of for sometime, this has been the case for the last few months and doing many tests failed to show any kidney abnormalities, i was told this microscopic haematuria can sometimes be simply a normal thing with no underlying cause,,,, could this be a reason for delay in my application..... eventhough i have asked the DMP to send copies of the tests i have done which show no kidney disease. My PCC were done early March 2011 and sent with the original application, they will expire soon, so i hope i will be asked for the passports before March 2012.... your valuable thoughts are welcome
Thanks

Hello tarekcanada.. when we received our MR letter, it was not emailed.. our visa office here in Manila, Philippines, send it thru our post office, because there are forms that need to be signed by a DMP (Designated Medical Practitioner).. attached with the letter, is we need to pay already the RPRF ($490 each, for me & my spouse).. and at the same time, they asked us to submit our latest NBI clearances for me & my husband.. the same is true also to some of my friends, who are now in canada.. when they received their MR letter, they are ask to pay already their RPRF.. hope this helps for your query..

it is better to ask your visa office, if when are you gonna pay for your RPRF.. i think there's nothing wrong with that.. because as far as i know MR & RPRF usually goes together.. but we have different visa offices, maybe they have different ways on processing your application.. maybe you could ask some of your friends who are already in canada..

Dear Friend,

Hi Tarekcanada, No need to worry, you can send the RPRF at any time to the VO or you can just wait and submit RPRF along with your passport when it is requested.
I had the same questions as my RPRF wasn't requested till the PPR . You can always send in the RPRF in advance, or can wait until PPR. I realized from experience that your application will not be accelerated or delayed either way.
Hope this helps, SF2005

is the RPRF the same fee you send when you submit the application? or is it an additional fee which you have to pay once the landing Visa is issued?
Thanks Guss

Dear Gussj,
RPRF is Right to Permanent Resident Fees to be paid by the P.A + Spouse after the Medicals, when applicant sends passports for visa stamping. The fees sent with the application is Called VPF - Visa Processing Fees
Thanks

I had the reverse situation. I was asked to pay the RPRF before MR. One of my friend working for a immigration consultant asked me to wait. After one month I got MR request. But I think nothing wrong in checking with VO for the same. Only thing is you might not get the prompt response. Good Luck. Thanks, Aran

They will probably request the RPRF at the same time you get your passport request.

I received my MR by post , they didn't ask me to sent RPFF. Though they ask me for updated PCC and few updated forms (which we have filled during original application in 2009) .
