A friend of mine did his medical two months ago, but E-CAS status hasn't changed. 

Does that mean his medical hasn't been processed yet or is it that the medical has been processed, but e-cas hasn't been updated?  Any ideas folks? How do you know the Regional Medical Office processed your medical?

When did he apply? did he apply under old system or new one>?

He applied in June of last year, so that's under the new system.

Does e-cas get updated when medical exam is finalized?

Our status is still In-process after about four months of the medical

Mine has not changed either though two months passed after the medical done despite applying under the new system. But I guess maybe we would receive sth in the mail and still the e-case not changed.
