Hi all,
I just heard from my consultant that have received Medical & RPRF request from CIC. However, when I checked status online its still says 'In process'
Any thoughts ? seniors/All pls respond.

Full application sent : 22nd Dec, 2009
Medical & RPRF request : 2nd Feb, 2010 (My consultant is saying that they have already released this request on 28th Jan, 2010)..
NOC : 3152
Visa office : CHC-New Delhi.
My consultant also said that Interview is got waived off..
Just waiting for medical package to come and go for medical exams..
btw, don't they update case status like 'Medical & RPRF req sent' on cic website ?

No They dont but when medicals result is received then they update it in detail Medical Result received. But main status still remains In Process |

No They dont but when medicals result is received then they update it in detail Medical Result received. But main status still remains In Process
Hi Rocky It has been 2 weeks since medicals were sent but still the detail has nothing about the medicals.What could be the reason? |

From reading other ppl's experience on this forum, They never update any specific information about medical result in case status. Once you send your Meds, RPRF and PP whenever they are ready for visa issuance they simply update case status from "In process" to "Decision Made". Inside that, they just mention that " Medical results recvd & blah blah blah.." No specifc dtls abt Medical results & all that.

Hi Vic77,
You will not see any change in the Status till all the background checks are completed, this is done simultaneously as your medical results are received. Once everything is complete you will see the change from "In Process" to "Medical results have been received", once you see this status then you can expect your PPR or if they request RPRP & PPR before then the status will change to "Decision Made" which means your passport is already stamped with visa and you can expect the same in a couple of weeks.

Many thanks for your answer max_lee. Please let us know the following: 1. Is there any way we can find out if our interview is waived off. There is no information on the CIC web site about interview. Mdarji has written interview waived off where he has given all the details in the same thread. How can anybody find this? Is there any way we could find out if interview is waived off for us. 2. How long does it take once we send medical receipts and passport? Although you did write few weeks but if they are doing background checks simultaneously, then how long could they take?
