Hi to all,
              I was just wondering that has anyone applied from Uk for a spouse visa and is currently living in Uk as an international student. My interview was done on 26th nov 2008 and they updated my medical reults on the website right after a few days of my interview and even IO also said he has approved it and there are no compications in my case. He said he just needs to get the background check verification and then he will write me in to send my passport for VISA.

He also gave back all my documents and pics to me after inteview. Anyone with the same experience or something close to this situation?

- I am not in the similar situation. However, I have learnt an important message from your post. According to you, the IO told you that he will check your background then ask for your passport. This is important for some of us who are patiently waiting for passport request after medical. I guess they do delay for the background check sometimes! Thanks and Good luck.
