Thanks maverick, i got her email by searching on forum and did send email to her and her response was very fast.. what she said regarding my case is that, they need to do additional background check therefore file need to be send to CPP Ottawa, i don't know how long that will take? My question is r they asking about my wife in spouse colum?i mean why i have to fill details abt my wife as(SPOUSE)  .she is in canada and im beign sponserd(applicant)
i dont know why they r asking about her.i hope u will understand this table

I know its not the right forum to ask this but many of you people know this information.
I just want to know what is total processing time it takes to get US VISIT visa for a person living in Canada (not a Canadian citizen). how soon can we have interview and after that how much processing time is required.

Check with US embassy. It doesn't take long. They will call you for an interview before issuing a visa. Good luck |

I uploaded the renewed work permit last night and asked for the status update and this is what i received just now from Buffalo

Hi Saroj,
How long did it take you after the medical request?
I did my medicals in advance in July 2011 so may be that is not relevant. It took 1 week after very recently submitting my FBI clearance. Good luck ! |

Mine too transfered to LA on same 18 apr 2012....
..So relieved to know that yours is there too ..I thought I am the only one in LA as most of the files went to seattle..I will update you if I hear anything from them..usually they say its about a month or so for the ppr or doc. request if they need any. |
