Yep, the waiting is obviously a real pain in the @ ss. They seem to be kind of quiet as of late. A lot of us however, are still well within the given timeframe (14 months or so) so we can't do anything but wait. People seem to be expecting to get the whole process over and done with in under a year (I realise this has happened for some others. They were the lucky ones  ). |

Well, if you actually go to CIC website and check, the processing time now for PNP in Buffalo is 15 months instead of 14. |

Interesting. I wondered if that figure was from Nomination or not. Yes there have been lucky ones who got the Ottawa office.. I was nominated and a colleague applied at that time, and already has his passport stamped and is landed! About 5 months faster!
Buffalo is crazy slow. I thought the time post medical was 2-3 months, not 4-XXXXX. Wow!
PS my med's were done early October 2011.
Just to confirm - my Federal application was sent months before April 25th 2011, does the 15 month processing time start at the 25th April, or when they really received it. Unless of course it took it 5 months to reach Buffalo from Vancouver!

There's not much we can do other than waiting.
When I applied in March 2011, the processing time was 13 months based on how cases in 2010 had been finalised. Now, the actualy numbers are out and the current processing times are 15 months based on cases finalised on 2011. So, I think we should expect 15 months for most of the cases to be resolved. This processing time is for BUFFALO since your application reached them. Once your file gets transferred this timeline is not applicable as the Visa Office changes. Usually, when they are transferred the cases are solved within 3 months! |

You should hear from them within 3-5 weeks. If no documents are missing, then PPR is coming. |
