Hi all,

Can someone please share his experience in sending the passport to Buffalo, something like which carrier to use and what's the timeline for getting it back.

Thanks

Yes my ecas changed like the same as yours, its showing 2 adresses one is home and the second is mailing adress, could you share your timeline

I have checked my ecas and today it is showing 2 address, one home address and one mailing address. Does it mean are we going to get something in mail next week. Hopefully PPR...

I have a question, i have not submitted my landing fees, will they send separate request for it or will it be with my passport request ?

Many Thanks

A few other people are noticing the same issue with ECAS showing 2 addresses. No idea what that means.

Usually if you havent sent out ur landing fees, Buffalo will request it with PPR letter.

well, you can check from the last mass update!!! PPR requested was "a lot". and of course, hope everyone is on their track.

Is this actually true? Was the last mass update not during December and not too many got PPR then did they? Is there a common trend amongst the people whose addresses dissappeared? Mine did also but it seems that EVERYONES did no? I just don't want to get my hopes up along with a lot of other people and be dissapointed again.

I did my Landing today at Peace Arch....(BC border)  I got there and decided to spend afternoon in Blaine.. got a bottle of Irish Cream and a bottle of Gin (they never asked me if I bought alcohol into Canada when I came back) and a few groceries... got back to border did the landing in less than 20minutes did not ask me any questions other than have I committed any crime (other than bringing in alcohol NONE LOL) that was it 2 years of waiting and all over in less than half an hour...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Tanyar 2408
Got a feeling that a bunch of PPR's are going to be sent out next week, the address disappearance thing  could be a red herring we shall see.
The main thing is that we are all in process and will eventually get PPR , good luck.
I will not  recieve PPR in the next couple of weeks at least , due to the last minute fingerprint request(4 months after MR)

I don't see why an MP would help. We aren't eligible to vote if we get PR.

Well, when you do a case specific enquiry, the drop down menu saying relationship to applicant has an option saying 'Member of Parliament'. I have heard that a friend's friend used this method get the application status of is file. I heard that he got a detailed reply with lot of specifics and a rough timeline.

We applied under PNP Britsh Columbia.  It took six months to get PNP approval.  Our actual PR Application was received by CIC on 7 December 2011 and we are still waiting for our PPR.  In the middle of December 2011 we were asked for, and paid our RoPRF.  It was received by Fort Erie on 15 December 2011, so they have had our fee for nearly 7 weeks, and still we wait......................It seems it is usually the case that PPR and RoPRF are requested at the same time, but sadly not the case for us.  Also, we have never been able to get our status on ECAS because it could never find us, and our status, if we call CIC, still states "your application was received on 7 December 2010". Nothing else ever. Our Medicals were done on 27 July 2011............Our file is in Buffalo, unfortunately Shocked
