We got our PPR, sent our passports, waiting for it to returned back to us.. E-cas still no update since october 2011.. Smiley

did you done the case specific inquiry or just general inquiry? and tell me exactly what did you ask them......bcz my medical was done in  oct 10 but still waiting for ppr.......is that better to mail right now or just wait?

i did the case specific inquiry.. the message was like this

 Hello Sir/ Madam Its almost 4 months since i got my medical done. I have not heard anything after that. I m bit worried. Can u please tell me the status of my case? It will be really appreciated.

i think u should send them an inquiry right now..

as par my acknowledgement letter three point mention

(1) is RPRF fees submit, if it is not submitted
(2) PCC Submit, if it is not submitted
(3) Original and Old passport submit if it is not submitted

i submit RPRF Fee and PP because already submitted to my File after This letter...

pl advise senior i submit again PCC........ Sad Sad

because till now my status is "Application Received"

Medical have been received


you should put more info so at least we know and give some recommendations such as: where is processing office and other info. why you submit Passport and PCC (twice?). Does VO request you?

So on PAGE 186,  I become the PERMANENT RESIDENT...Thank God Huhhhh.. I went for the appointment.. It took 5 mins.. He asked for my wifes ticket.. I showed him.. But he didnt really care about the date she is travelling.. ... So good luck you guys..

Raj, be strong, we are with you for anything we could do to help.

If you already contacted Catherine then repeated inquiries won't help. I don't think you can use your relative wedding as an excuse to have your file expedited because if it is possible for them then they should have finalized your case already - say a couple mths ago - most of ppl in your timeline have already become PR. Apparently there must be something else they are working on that takes so long - I can only think of CSIS security clearance. You may be randomly selected to be screened for this.

I don't think Buffalo is trying to hold you back for no reason - so please try to relax. This is something out of their control, too.

Thanks Troungan for your support.I didnt email catherine after getting her reply on dec-20 that is few weeks for final review and its in queue for final review. I am waiting till end of this month then i think i will email her and ask her 5that few weeks are passed away but i didnt hear anything and reasoning for delaying in processing

Sounds good to me. Smiley

Make sure you write back to her on her previous reply so she knows who you are and what you are talking about. This superlady works on hundreds of approval/refusal everyday.

I DID SEND AN EMAIL TO BUFFALO VISA OFFICER ABOUT MY FILE STATUS AND SHE REPLIED WHICH WILL ALSO ANSWER TO ALL WAITING APPLICANTS. SHE REPLIED:

We are currently sending passport requests for applicants who applied in February 2011.  You applied in late April 2011.  Please be patient.  In due course, your application will be assessed as well but you do need to wait while those who applied before you have their applications finalized.
 
Please send any further requests for case status to the Buffalo immigration mail box.  I will be out of the office and unable to respond.
