Canada Post service is very disappointing.  My return envelope was delivered to the wrong address.  Worst ----> this is my second time.  The first one i sent an envelope going to Qatar ( i paid $50 plus for international) but was delivered to one of the province here in Canada.  Meaning it was never been out of the country.

My apology this might be out of topic here.  Just want to share this unexpected experience.  And this might serve as a wake up call for others who are planning to get the service of Canada Post for the submission of their passport(s).  Thank you.

No I have been struggling to track my return envelope. Return envelope is showing activity and the recent track suggests the delivery of my passport to Fredericton! I have just received an email from Buffalo that my passport is in queue. Canada post is the most unreliable service. I really hope Buffalo one day will associate with Fed-Ex - that is not only reliable but also efficient.

I haven't seen any new PPR after the new year. They sent out massive calls for PPR around Christmas time and now they take nap again?

my 2 friends got PPR last week!
you will be surprised to read this: They applied in October, they got medicals in November, January they got PPR!.....Superfast.
Sometimes I feel CIC could do a better job queing application in proper order.....I see few applicants from december 2010 are still waiting on PPR!......
What can anyone do.......Thats how they operate....
I really hope Raj gets is soon, we have been talking for months now on this board now! He is the only one amongst us waiting for PPR.

after long holidays, they start with slow motion, I guess. They have not yet get rid of 2010 applicant and while processing other, it's no way to guess how VO doing application.

If Fingerprint past over 1 year, most likely they will ask again. One of my friend ask to provide EILTS again cuz the time waiting for processing over 1 year so she have no choice to take again. It's so...ridiculous, waste time and waste money....

I arrived at my conclusion because I figure your address was gone for 3 weeks...during that 3 weeks I am sure you would be notified of the transfer.
Did you send them a status inquiry during those 3 weeks?

LOL dont mind me...Immigration has me going crazy...LITERALLY
I believe when "Medical results have been received" added to your line means a decision has been made, as this stated in the ECAS.  So there is no reason for our file would be transferred to other VO.   Correct me if i'm wrong.

No. Your wrong. It doesn't mean your file is already decided. And at this point there's a chance that they'll transfer your file to different vo.

For applications processed in Canada - Medicals are conducted before completely evaluating a file. Once the evaluation is complete they may request an interview, further medical tests, or PPR.

So it seems Buffalo is transferring files to other offices.

Just heard from a friend of mine who got an email from Buffalo that they have transferred her file to Los Angeles and that she shouldnt contact Los Angeles for 90 days. She applied in April. Probably thats why there were address disappearing and appearing--could be file transfer.

So depressing

My address disappeared for 2 weeks as well aftr the 24th .. So i dn noe wt to expect nd i applied in april too.. Lol we really dn need file transfer at this moment..??

Hi Friends,

One question, why can't we put a return fed-ex envelope while sending passports. that way it is very easy to track when they ship back

Thanks

Because the Buffalo mail room is not accessible to public! Mail room staff does not want to deal with courier. With Canada Post they send all passport back at once, from the same place at same time (USPS sent out from Buffalo, Canada Post from Fort Erie), same procedure so that they can avoid headache and can reduce their hours.

When you send documents to Buffalo, couriers leave them at Consulate' receptionist desk so nobody get headache.

It is how Buffalo mail room operates and you must follow them.

Hi all,

I got an email today saying to fast track my application got transferred to Los Angeles. It was originally with Buffalo and then transferred to CPP-O and now Los Angeles...

To be honest I'm sad because considering CPP-O timeline, I was expecting my PPR any time soon. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
