I just want to give out some information regarding my application that was received by Buffalo on 10/18/2010.
I requested a change of address via fax 3 months ago and it was changed on e-cas after 2 weeks. Last month, my address disappeard and it came back as my old address. 2 weeks ago, I sent an email to Buffalo regarding that and inquire on my application too, they did not respond.
Monday 10/10/11, my ecas changed to medical received. On Wed. 10/12/11 I sent another email regarding my address change and inquiring on my application. Thursday, 10/13/11, I received an email from buffalo that my file was sent to detroit and at the same time, my address has been corrected to current address.
So, I think they transferred my file to detroit because i sent them an email.
I think, if it has been a year for your application, sent email to buffalo.
Does anybody know about Detroit proccessing?

we have similar timelines....ang mine was also transferred to detroit...from the looks of it, it would take longer at deroit coz theres already movement at buffalo and los angeles....  |

Thanks for reply tanoshi. I am just a bit nervous cos some people get PPR by email and some get it by regular mail. And according to a lot of information online, after medical received usually within 1 months PPR will appear. And the final waiting is just killing me  Let's hope for the best of everyone. We're on the same boat. Waiting and waiting, don't know what is going on. Check mail and mailbox everyday. My friend was received PPR by email early this year. Look like depends on Visa Officer. Hope the best for everyone!!! |

My E-CAS is APPLICATION RECEIVED with details: "Application for permanent resident received on Oct 25, 2010. Medical has been received." I emailed them NOTICE OF CHANGE ADDRESS after Done Medical Exam but right now E-cas still have old address!!!
Any comment on my application? Thanks in advance
I sent inquiry on Sep 28, 2011 and received reply on Sep 30, 2011, it indicated that:"Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete."

When you update your address through Buffalo, it may not change in e-CAS. I had similar issue and was told by Buffalo not to update in e-CAS for change in address. Yes, Rossei is Right! they are never certain about information transmittd to us. I have emailed them 3-4 times regarding my address change and had neer recieved an email. Infact my wife's name was changed nd i had to go through too much paperwork while doing medicald. Her passport was expired and was still under her maiden name....and all her canadian ID is based on my last name and y last surname....I had to convince the medical officer with all the old passport and pictures... So they never changed my information..... sam |

they replied they will send notification regrading finalization of my application in app. 3-4 weeks.
So do i count from oct 12 or from yesterday?

same case here, mine was also transferred sept 8. did you sent them an email to check your application status? i want to send them an email but it says that i have to wait for 90 days before i can do that.... |
