thanks TRUONGAN, I got a mail from buffalo (nov 28) requesting my PCC from my home country (philippines), I submitted and they received it last dec 12, 2011. This is what the letter says:
"we have completed the initial assessment of your application, Please submit the requested additional documents, expect no interview when we finalize your application. Failure to submit this within 90 days could mean refusal to your application."
My question is, would this additional docs (PCC which they already received) completes my application and no more delays on processing? how long till PPR?
Give them 6 weeks atleast. Thats what happened in my case. sam |

Thanks sam1986, at least I have an idea base on your experience, and if I receive my PPR, can I personally submit our passports to buffalo and wait for the visas, I'll be driving from california to buffalo and from buffalo will enter Canada? |

Your visa and COPR have been printed and stamped on passport. Passport is now sitting in the mailroom or is on the way to your home. Blame the holidays.
But congrats, you finally made it. When did Buffalo receive your passport? Did you say Dec 7?

My address also disappeared but its been two weeks now. I think you should expect PPR Request as your ECAS says In Process mine is still app received. Good luck! |

Yes if u r expecting PPR then address disappearance is a good sign.. Hey fujima, when did your address disappeared though? Was it sunday night or earlier than that?? Did u checked ur ecas on saturday or smewhere before?? Let me know when it appears again... |

Hi there,
I sent my package on Dec 7'11. I did not send any emails to the consulate and waited patiently for them to their work. I am not sure about Tanoshi.
After you wait 2 weeks, buzz them 1 email so they can reply to you so you have ideas where you passport is. |

From my experience. This time is crucial for your application right now. VO review your file cuz your standard processing time is gonna end soon. Just wait a bit patient and send email to them with more details which looks formal and friendly. From mine, it is like that: Dear Immigration Officer: File No.: Name: XXX Client ID: XXXX-XXXX DOB: XXXXX RE: Application Processing As per request on XXXX, I made Medical request and submit on XXXX. Also, I submit RCMP on XXX with confirmation. I would like to.... Something like that. Write nicely, they will answer quickly from my experience. They catch ur info and check faster. Try it and good luck. |
