Thts good they atleast tell u one or two week in my case they said no precise estimate for processing.Sam keep your hope at high level u ll reach destination soon.
Raj! Truongan got the same reply as u did...and he was surprised with a PPR the next day... So anything is possible..... In my case, I am excited cz my address is still missing LOL.....cz address disappearance is always good for members on the board in general. You are not far either....u should get it soon |

Hey guys,
I have sent my passport to Buffalo last Monday. I checked my E-CAS last night, my address disappeared. Then this morning, I checked it again, I am not able to check my E-CAS at all. Anybody, who receives PPR, experiences the same thing?

Your passport probably got IMM VISA stamped. Therefore, your no longer require e-CAS. After few days of my PPR email, my e-CAS was blocked as well. I checked couple of times to see if the status changed to "Decision Made" after I received my PPR email, but it never occurred. |

By saying that, your IO meant you will hear from him in a day or two, not in a week or two. Believe me you will get PPR in a day or two. LOL, that's just how immigration is worded.
In my case, Nov 24 Buffalo wrote me back a very detailed message about my case and they were sorry not able to tell me the precise timeline for my PPR. Nov 25, guess what, PPR at 2 PM.
By the way we should send a HUGE thanks to Catherine Bailey as she has been so helpful to the members of this topic!
you are right. She is a very nice and helpful lady.. |

it took exactly 32 days to get it for me. there was no bring forward date indicated.
However, you will be able to check your application's current status in deatail.
and my address disappered last friday and got PPR call on the following monday.

Yours reached there on dec 9 friday... so I would say buffalo picked it up following week which is 12 dec (monday) from any date.. mine reached in 15th dec... I didnt see any changes yet.. i think we have to give a 2 full weeks atleast.. unless something happens like Truongan.. |

For those of you who recently got PPR or who will get PPR soon,
I will visit Buffalo in person on January 5th (Thursday) 2012 to get my passport stamped.
I have seen a few cases that passport was lost/stolen, and I don't want to risk it at the very last moment.
I am leaving Vancouver on 4th (in the moring) and coming back on 5th (in the evening).
Since air fare, rental car and shelter cost is adding upto $1000,
I would like to subsidize it by taking you guys' passports with me as well,
and want to get paid $100/passport.
I have working knowledge and very detailed intenary with me, so should you have any question,
please feel free to email me via this website or leave a message here.
