Finally, got PPR!!

Apllication submitted in March

Did medical in Sept.

Thanks guys for the supporting,

And SPECIAL thanks to TRUOGAN Cheesy

Woohoo! Congrats Smiley
What day in March did you apply and what does ur ecas say?

  @  TRUOGAN:

In the email they said passport must be mailed,

However in the link they provided, it says I have options

Whether to mail or to visit in person.

Can I go to Buffalo in person in this case?

And how can I check their holidays?

Woohoo! Congratulations.

Yes, you do have an option to drop by Buffalo and get the visa stamping in person on Tuesday and Thursday and do landing on the way back.

Why don't you make it there tomorrow or this coming Thursday the 20th? Arrive early to be safe, you cannot ask for walk in service if you arrive after 10am.

They close on 26th but reopens on 27th as Boxing Day is not counted as a holiday for government employees.

Bring photos that exactly meet their requirements.

Hey guys,

I have sent my passport to Buffalo last Monday. I checked my E-CAS last night, my address disappeared. Then this morning, I checked it again, I am not able to check my E-CAS at all. Anybody, who receives PPR, experiences the same thing?

Thanks,

Hello Everyone!
I emailed catherine Bailey (immigration manager) in regards to my matter and asked her the question of my PCC issues and to confirm to see if they have recieved it or not; Also asked her to see what is going on with my case for so long. She replied me back in like 1 minute stating that she has forwarded my email to the officer handling my case.
5 minutes later I recieved an email directly from the visa officer stating that he has recieved my original PCC and I will be recieving further instructions in a week or two.

I still cannnot view my address on e-cas. So for sure something is cooking on the officers desk.....

By saying that, your IO meant you will hear from him in a day or two, not in a week or two. Believe me you will get PPR in a day or two. LOL, that's just how immigration is worded.

In my case, Nov 24 Buffalo wrote me back a very detailed message about my case and they were sorry not able to tell me the precise timeline for my PPR. Nov 25, guess what, PPR at 2 PM.

By the way we should send a HUGE thanks to Catherine Bailey as she has been so helpful to the members of this topic!
