Thank you all my friends.

Congratulations Mahesari,

Now you can start passport carrier business in Saskatoon. Your first client will be sinpguy, charge him $100 for each passport stamped at Buffalo man  Cheesy

Anyway, congrats again. Address disappearance links to some kinds of big update I guess.

On a side note, after landing I can no longer access ECAS. I got the message "We were not able to identify you". I just want to see the last line 'you became a PR' and they didn't want to grant me that privilege. LOL

Criminal check involves police clearance from countries you have lived more than 6 mths since your 18th birthday. This check is required to ALL APPLICANTS. In Canada, RCMP handles this.

Security check is conducted by CSIS. This check, as far as I see, only target to those who are suspicious as a threat to Canadian security.

These checks are referred as a common name - Background check.

Thts strange Truongan... A friend of mine landed more than a month ago and he can still check his ecas...

His status now shows as "Complete"... after "Decision Made"!

Anyway.. why bother, you are a PR already... Just wait for your PR card now...

forgot to tell you. if you have ecas tracker, the minute you see 'decision made' status, you know your passport has been dispatched by immigration officer and on the way to mail room (eventually to you). the following wednesday or friday whichever come first, you will be able to track your return envelope.

Happy holiday my friend. I am glad we made it before Christmas and my fingers crossed for Sam and Saka as well.

TRUONGAN, quick question my friend, i applied as Quebec skilled worker...submitted my passport on 22nd Nov in New York. My online status changed to "decision made" on 2nd Dec. I was expecting something from them last week but nothing happened.

Does CHC dispatch passport from mail room on Wednesday/friday only Smiley

Hopefully i hear back from them this week !!

An update in my case... I'm one of the last October '10 applicants...
They replied to me saying "When admissibility checks have been completed, you will be contacted, probably by email."
Admissibility checks? Anyone knows what that means?

I have no idea about New York City. I feel this office is the slowest in U.S though - it takes them more than a month to stamp visa. Detroit is very good at returning passport, Buffalo is good, too. But if you see Decision Made, your passport should be in the mail room waiting.

i dont know about mailing instruction from NYC. did you provide them courier envelope?
