That doesn't work for me then. I already mailed in my passport. You guys should create a network to elect one person to bring everyone's passport to Buffalo for stamping from each region. And that person get compensated for his time, say, $50 per passport.

After I landed, I can do this business, don't you think so, LOL!!!

No man, CIC is extremely strict on photos. even a photo that has fingerprints on it is not accepted. She should courier her pp to you with the photos.

They recently changed the head size (from top to chin) on photo, too. You should check the updated measurement on their website.

From what I was told, photos are supposed to be stamped with date and photo studio details on the back. Why don't you try to print your wife's photos from a studio and request them to stamp the date too?  I am really not sure if they really check this but you never know these guys..

I agree with TRUONGAN, it's really risky to take a chance at this final stage.

i didn't have that link since i paid RPRF in advance.

As for photos, you could try to print them off from here, but ask someone who experts on Photoshop to print it correctly based on the new measurement. dont stamp the date though, buffalo they do not like cheating like you say, instead you should explain to them in a note that in your wife country dating the date on photo is not a normal practice but you guarantee this is the most recent appearance of your wife. see what they say. they should excuse you I hope.

hey why don't you book a flight to Buffalo and get it done on the same day. I mean talking to them about photos, pay RPRF, get stamped, do landing, and probably help me carry my pp back, all in one day Cheesy Saskatoon is closer than Calgary

Hmm are you aware that after becoming PR, you do need PR Card to get back to Canada from the U.S by airplanes (the only exception is to get back into Canada from U.S by your own car). Also you said that you're leaving for your home country on coming Saturday so I wonder why you can offer such a great favor to board members.

Are you serious about everything you say in here? Passport carriage is a serious matter and is very time-consuming. It is not something you can say without throughout thinking.

SINP,

Here is the info they sent me. I hope this is useful

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Every principal applicant and his/her accompanying spouse/common law partner is required to pay a Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) in the amount of $490 CAD or $490 USD.

The RPRF must be submitted in the form of a money order, certified cheque or bank draft payable to the “Canadian Consulate General”. Please write your application number on the back of the cheque, money order or bank draft. The RPRF will be refunded if for any reason you do not immigrate to Canada.
