Hey SAM did u apply tp vancouver or toronto.. Cos i f you are applying pcc to vancouver, you dont need passoprt, they just need copy.. I never send my passport for PCC application..

I applied in toronto! they require to send them the original pasport.... They work same as back home...
This time if I have to apply for a PCC, i would do it in vancouver.

Good job!
I sent an email to Buffalo on Tuesday Nov. 9 and I asked that my application status says "Medical results have been received" So does it mean my security and background check is complete ? And just an hour ago i got the answer and it is surprising!!:

"Your application was transferred to Detroit.  Buffalo has no information regading your file.  You must contact Detroit directly."

But they have not sent me any email regarding this transfer and there was no update on ECAS. Do you have any idea what is happening? How is Detroit office?

Hey!
Sinpguy is right about Detroit asking eployment proof before visa issuance. Its not 100% but it is very likely they will ask for your employement information like T4, paystubs, R.O.E, etc...
I would start working on those documents now to be prepared.

It is possible but it is unacceptable that Buffalo failed to inform you of your file location.

Please initiate contact with Detroit right away to follow up your case, and don't think about Buffalo any more. Try to be strong in this process. Immigration Office has all the power to give foreign applicants headache and disappointment, but you are close to the end. Once you become PR you will no longer need to deal with them ever again (I hope), you will deal with inland offices where your voice is heard better.

Truongan is right!
They do what they feel like!
They requested me to submit PCC again when they already have one. I have not even visited my home country in past 2 years and I gave them my PCC ated last year..... still they want me to prove them that I have a clean record lol...
