Did you get PPR shortly after Catherine emailed you back? It's been always the same for other people, too I think Catherine can trigger her staff easier than us. But good thing she helped you

Anyway, processing time for visa issuance is about 3 weeks. If you can get your pp back and travel to India then you need to apply for travel document OR you don't land until you come back to Canada from India.

Hi Troungan,

I am going to buffalo on tuesday , i think it will be done on same day.Is there any problem to get travel document from india.

Mostly ecas get updated on weekend.. But u can signup with ecas tracker (google  eacs tracker) and then u dont have to check ecas at all. they will sent u email once its updated

It can be just couple of weeks  in normal case.. but it can go any longer in rare cases..

Its a third party service.. But its legal.. u can read the site and if u feel comfarrtable go ahead. many here in this forum used including me....

Congrats!
A buddy of mine went to India soon after landing in Buffalo. His 'plan' was to ask his roommates Fedex him his PR card when it arrives in a few months. However, instead of PR card, he got a letter saying that something's wrong with his photos, so he needs to go to local CIC office to get his pics taken.

Well, he applied for a travel document, and he got it within 5 days. He'll be back here soon and continue his PRC process.

You can apply for travel document directly at Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, or at any VFS location in India. They have a location in most major cities. The forms are pretty straightforward too...

Hello Friends,

My medical results have been received at Buffalo. Current status says - "In Process".

Typically, how long more I am expecting to wait for my PR card? Ontario PNP-PhD class.

When I filed my application, I was working in USA. Recently I moved back to India. Will this delay the processing further?

Ecas just updated to Decision Made!!!!!!!!! so guess that means passport now has the visa and they sending back this week (hopefully)

yes.. now you try tracking ur return postage on wednesday after 11:00 am or friday 11:00 am.. i would say friday..

i had sent an email to buffalo general enquiry and got a generic reply saying 'its in process and no further action is reqd.'. I see a lot of people have emailed Catherine. Can i get the email for catherine at buffalo. CIC had recd my application on Jan 31, 2011. been way too long now.

I did my medicals on last week of September and simnce have been waiting its almost 4 months...file in Buffalo...Ecas update shows application received and medical received....How long more probably should I wait?
