I got the email for AOR and MR from Ottawa Pilot. Its one of the satellite offices which was assisting Buffalo. Ottawa was under 2 phases, in the first phase up until september it was assisting Buffalo in sending our AOR and doing the basic security check, which is the RCMP for your name. If all is good, your file gets transferred back to Buffalo, if not RCMP clearance is issued to the applicant.
Second phase is what is happening now for Ottawa, which is they are processing the entire application at ottawa and thats when the PNP applicants are getting PPR within 4 months as Ottawa has no backlog!

And there you were last year worrying so much about the time it took for your application to be processed... Enjoy your new found life in B.C. It's definitely worth all this wait. Did ur file got transferreed or something? Urs is already 14months now... what do they reply to ur email??
Nopes... Still in Buffalo! I was replied that I am undergoing admissibility checks and that they'll contact me once they are complete. No timeline was given though. I will contact them again in a few weeks if I hear nothing. My address has disappeared and hasn't come back since. So I don't know what's going on. Just waiting patiently. |

Buffalo received my application on Oct 18, 2010. File transferred to Detroit on Oct 13, 2011. my ecas says that they started processing my application on Nov 11, 2011 and I am still waiting. I sent couple emails , they told me it is in process and they will contact me.
Any advice of what should I do

But rest on boxing day after PPR... huh spent like 2000$ or something like that... Now I dont have to worry about any major things.. well I am an north american now...lol.. since your file was transferred to Detroit, it'll be lightly delay a bit in processing. As I know, you're better prepare job contract, bank statement, paystub, T4, etc. Most likely, this office will ask these documents. |
