Seriously thats really annoying.We people waiting for more than a year and now buffalo really forget about processing timeline.
I think you buzz them right now since you have been waiting for long. When email, remind them that you fulfilled their requested documents already so they can wake your application up again and make decision. Ask them nicely too, might be CC to Catherine, too? |

Sure, don't buzz them too much. A possible delay I guess is they request RCMP and normally they have the standard time(maybe 60-90 days) to retrieve the application which they ask supporting documents. Sometimes email too much is not good, too. |

just wanna share my timeline and wish to get an idea of whats gonna happened:
Application received: Apr. 25, 2011 (actually i sent out the application in Feb 2011 and untill Aug i have not heard anything from them so i emailed Buffalo and ECAS changed to "We received your application for permanent residence on April 25, 2011." so i donno what took them so long just to "receive" my application)
AOR and MR: Sept.22 2011
MR sent to Ottawa: Sept. 30, 2011 (they received it on Oct 3rd and status changed to "Medical results have been received." around end of Octorber)
Started Processing: Nov. 29, 2011 (stauts changed to "We started processing your application on November 29, 2011." around Dec 6, 2011)
Address disappear: Dec 27, 2011
Address re-appear: Jan 6, 2012.
PPR: waiting
One more question, i heard that we need to provide employment letter when sending out passport or landing, is it true?

Sending Passport is the final step in your application and it is NO. If needed, VO will ask employment letter before they request Passport. |

Until now, it has been more than X months and I do not hear anything from you so I wonder whether my Medical Exam already arrived at your office or not. When I checked My application status online and it has not changed for a long time. I start worried so I email to you for further info. I'm looking forward to hearing from you in the very near future. Thank you for your attention. Confirm your address again to make sure it's correct. Sometimes they send to wrong address. Do not mess with immigration officials.. It's not a good idea. Kind inquiry indicating your time lines would be polite and professional, besides no applicant could speed up the process.. Every applicants case is unique and finalizes on its own merits.. (I am waiting too) |
