Hey guys,
I have sent my passport to Buffalo last Monday. I checked my E-CAS last night, my address disappeared. Then this morning, I checked it again, I am not able to check my E-CAS at all. Anybody, who receives PPR, experiences the same thing?

I got my PPR also on Dec 6th'11 and my package reached buffalo on Dec 9th'11, but however nothing has changed in my ecas (address is still there). When did your PP reach buffalo?
Mine was in buffalo on Monday, Dec 12. Well it disappeared and then appeared again this afternoon. It could have been that they were trying to get my file from Ottawa...I am not sure... |

For those of you who recently got PPR or who will get PPR soon,
I will visit Buffalo in person on January 5th (Thursday) 2012 to get my passport stamped.
I have seen a few cases that passport was lost/stolen, and I don't want to risk it at the very last moment.
I am leaving Vancouver on 4th (in the moring) and coming back on 5th (in the evening).
Since air fare, rental car and shelter cost is adding upto $1000,
I would like to subsidize it by taking you guys' passports with me as well,
and want to get paid $100/passport.
I have working knowledge and very detailed intenary with me, so should you have any question,
please feel free to email me via this website or leave a message here.
Thanks, and I hope you guys understand that I am not doing it to make money at all.

Wow, $1000 cost to travel there versus $50 bucks at most for mailing the passport. If I were you I wouldn't spend that much just to get the passport stamping in person. It just doesn't sound quite right to me. But maybe you are a rich guy and so keen to get your visa in hand the minute it gets stamped, although it wouldn't make a big different in timeline. If you send your pp there today, chances are you will get it back by Jan 10, 2012. And Vancouver is just a few miles away from the border for landing. need to balance between cost-effective and time-efficient man. On a side note, airlines allow 24 hrs to cancel after booking. hotels allow up to 24hrs before reservation to cancel, too. LOL |

Well.. I see the point.
But I do have seen the cases even recently that applications
And/or passports are gone missing.
In short, I just don't believe Canada Post especially in this season
Of the year. Plus, I'm not willing to go to the second round of
Waiting game with Canada Post. Jajajaja
My estimate for the travel is $1391.

my file open on sep ainp stream i send all doc to cic ND on 1st nov, 11th received latter submit pp,rprf and medical, my medial done 19th and submit pp,rprf to 22nd nov. and 18thd dec my e-case update medical have been received" so pl guide my pr is received to or not.

When ur address disappears and leads to a PPR; does the address reappears as sopon as u get a PPR
or
It stay missing until the passport is stamped?
