Not all applicants required to go through security screening by Canadian Intelligence. Based on the letter I just received from CSIS Director, as of Nov 1, 2011, CIC has not requested any security check on me.

The delay could be the position in queue, the jobs/NOC priority that is hidden from public.

Hey what letter did u get from CSIS director?  I didn't really get it

You have to request it. You send your Buffalo file info to CSIS, in a month they will tell you if they have received/processed it.

That is security check. I believe the concept that only certain applicants must go thru security checks.

Does ottopilot send ppr too.. ? How about visa stamping? They have to sent to buffalo I believe.

He got the email from ottpilot but the instructions say to send Passport to Buffalo

hum...so Ottawa applicants send passport to Buffalo, and Buffalo applicants send to Ontario........

But it took 6 months for Saka like us to get medicals though. Well u never know

Yep. His took 6-7 months too. Applied in Feb got medicals beginning of Sept. Who knows how these people operate. Actually getting tired of attempting to figure them out.

yeah me too i just want to retire from all these  Undecided early retirement , so I can visit this forum as a visitor, not a permanent resident

Ya, some getting in 4 months some in 8 months. It's hard to make any conclusions. We started this thread saying that ppr is couple of weeks away from medicals recieved . And we are still here after a month lol.
We will see how it goes
