Hi guys,
I checked my status on Tuesday, said medical received & then got an email today saying they need my passport.
So I was wondering if I should go visit Buffalo or send my passport, this is what they say if I go to Buffalo:
Passports may be brought in on Tuesday or Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Bring this email with you when you come. Every effort will be made to have your passports returned the same day.
If they return it same day then I don't mind going there, anyone have any experience with this?

Sent application first week of December 2010 directly to Buffalo
They started reviewing it mid January
Got docs to go ahead & do medical on 1st of Sept.
Medicals sent by doctor on 9th Sept.
Request to submit passport 14th Oct.

I noticed that alot of the CEC applicants on here and trackitt are getting PPR at a much quicker pace than PNP applicants.

Thats what I am been telling everyone on this board. but people think I am getting over-excited for nothing..... thats not the only case, if you go check deep in their forums....believe me there are many cases like the above. I have even seen medicals/AOR recievd in 3 weeks on their forum..... It's Insane eh! sam |

Just to add my timeline
BC PNP
Applied Buffalo CIC - Oct 25th received
ECAS updated to application received - May 18th
Received AOR and medical request in mail - May 30th
Medicals reached Ottawa - June 10th
ECAS updated to medicals received - Oct 10th or 11th
So i would presume from experience with AOR and medical request that when it says "medical received" that would mean PPR is mailed out? Then that means I should see it sometime next week......Buffalo to Vancouver is a long way to go....

Hopefully soon for us Morgan .. hey Sam rossei seems to busy after his wife is here. Also Sam u r talking about CEC , but we are pnp. They have different timeline from us. We shouldn't compare us with them I think. But u could be right that ppr is near for us.

Sinpguy! I totally agree with you! we are talking about two different class CEC and PNP. But haven't you noticed that few people have got a PPR after the e-cas changed with us on oct. 10/2011... I am just hopeful and its my observance.... again I may be wrong..I read forums extensively and i seriously believe that PPR is around the corner for us.. lets hope for the best. sam |
