Hi, I've been a silent observer of this forum. And for sure I'm learning a lot. Anyways, my file was transferred from Buffalo to LA Visa Office, and already received medical request from them on Aug 3,2010.  The med request  is not accompanied with RPRF. I'm just waiting for the next instructions.

I received my medical request from L.A. without being asked for RPRF. My consultant sent in my RPRF after medical was done even without L.A.'s instructions.

Canada CHC for the USA first sent your medical request only when they get medical and your all reports are good then CHC will send you RPRF request. In India NDelhi CHC sent medical and RPRF togather.

Thank you guys for all the infos. Anyone has any idea how much it costs for medicals and how much time the DMP takes to generate the report? I guess the cost will vary state to state... but still I need to get an idea.

My cousine attended Medical at Los Angeles she paid $950 for 1 person , sae for her husband, and no medical inssurance coverage, for New york my friend pais for him is $850. remember in the USA no medical coverage on inssurance for Medical request by Canada CHC. you have to pay whatever the charges but for 1 person count $1000 max.

My DMP in L.A. charged me $245 for adult and $215 for children. You have to pay about $40 for X-Ray per person. Plus any lab works that is necessary for certain conditions.

Hi,

I read your file getting transferred to LA from Buffalo. Why is it? If you don't ask them to transfer, can they transfer it without your consent?

Thanks

I got my medical first without RPRF. Three weeks after the medicals are done, I got the passport request along with the RPRF. Get done with your medicals and follow whatever instructions there maybe from the Consulate. Your application is going in the right direction.

Mine cost only $245 per adult, $35 for chest xray per adult, $85 per kid. We're so satisfied with their services. They sent the results to Ottawa after 2 days.

Thanks guys. I am at Texas, so I have to find out the cheapest place at Texas.

Buffalo can transfer files to their local office during processing, and they dont need ur concent to do that.
