Does the Visa Office request a medical redo before the interview or after?

Ordinarily they request it after.  You do not necessarily need to wait until then to re-do it.  If your medical has expired and your file is not complete, you can go ahead and re-do the medical and submit a new one.

Some visa offices have been known to ask an applicant to use a specific DMP for a re-medical, though.  This is not common, however.

Thanks for your input!

Idk if I will be called for an interview yet. If I am called for one, I will do my medicals before attending the interview to avoid further delays. POS is already slow.

I feel un settled with the medicals issue.
My medicals have expired in June 2011 and we're now in september. We all know POS is quiet. Reading through the forum, I am seeing that one should not redo medicals on their own but rather wait for a medical request. Is that true?

Let's say POS requests medical redo, must it be done by any DMP or it has to be done by the DMP of your region? I've heard they specify. Not sure how true is that.

If you redo your medical on your own, do you need to retake pictures or use the one that was submitted initially with your application? Should you use any DMP or use the one from your region?

Does POS accept medical redos even though they didn't request it?
Has POS or any VO rejected a medical redo because the applicant did the redo on their own initiative?
Let me know your thoughts and experiences! I'm sure I have been repetitive but your feedback will be greatly appreciated..

the meds ro do without prompt is at your own discretion personally if I get to that point where my meds expire I am going to redo them without being prompt as I already spent money on this process what is another $100 if it means my husband will be here sooner in the event they accept my redo thats just my point of view

You are taking a risk redoing as they may ask again to redo  and go to a specific DMP i think thats more on the smaller side though bcuz as long as the DMP is still on their list then the meds should be accepted IMO
