How's everyone doing today?

I would like to ask a question of topic.
What does it mean when the status on e-cas (cic web site) change?

It used to say something as "We have received your application for Permanent Resident on .......".
Now it has added "we have received your medical exams".

Why would it say this even though I had sent my medical exams with the application. The medical exams were in the application from the beginning.

Does this mean my case is almost finished.
They are reviewing it now?
Are they about to make a decision?

Thank you in advance.

You did the same as me, and have the same status as me.
Why and what is next?!? Nobody knows!

There is not really a reason for it.
I asked this for a couple of days back, and contradicting answers i got.

Nothing else left than just wait  Grin

Ours read "medical results received" on Oct 15, 2011 and within about 3 days my husband received a telphone call and email requesting an interview. His interview is this week...

Logically speaking no need to mention that "medicals have been received" when you have it in application already.
So they should not mean the one you attached. But may mean the one your DMP sent to them directly.

Note that the DMP one is the final and what you send is only a copy. So if they Say "We are finished with medicals" that means they would have got the final one from DMP. Now DMP sends to VO only and to CPC-M.

So your file maybe in VO in Berlin. However i understand your confusion when you are surprised can the app go so fast to Berlin?

MOre chances for app to be in Berlin or they made a mistake in the ECAS

Important: Can also please update your status if any in September 2011 thread? I landed here because I was looking for you all around.
