Hi all, I have a question about the medicals, I am going to have mine this friday and I wondered if i needed to put this information on the form i have. I used to have a heart condition, this is now not the case and my heart is back to normal function and size, i do however still have to take some medication for the next 4 years until they can wean me off them.

Should i put down the heart problem, even though it doesnt exist anymore, and also because im going to be coming off these tablets should I also put down that i take them. I am going the spousal route, and know that it wouldnt matter if i did have a problem or not.
just didnt want them to have an excuse to give me more tests if they didnt need to.

Thanks Mandy

They will ask you about past conditions and medication on the form, so you will have to list them either way.

As a spousal applicant, you are excessive medical demand exempt, but they still need to know what conditions you have.

Agree with above. You have to say what medications you are taking anyway. It won't hurt your application, though they may want further tests.

thanks guys for the advice, i managed to contactmy cardiologist today, he said he will gladley write me a letter that i can go pick up explaining that my heart condition is better now, so if it down and put that im taking the medication, hopefully the letter will negate the need for any more tests.
