My wife did her medical in the states and they said they will mail it for her.  So do I need to send anything with package for the medical ?

Your wife should have been given form IMM 1017 with her photograph and medical examiner's stamp. This form should be included in the application package you'd send to CPC Mississauga.

They dont always give it to you straight away, i recieved mine from the DMP sometime after the medical was done. Some people dont even get them, Ive seen that a few times. We sent ours off without the IMM 1017 just sent in reciept of payment with details on what it was for that they gave me and copy of an email from the DMP showing the delivery to london. I now have my IMM 1017 and once approved for sponsership I will send that to london as then I will have a file number for it to be married up with my application.

There is no good reason why a DMP should not issue the IMM 1017 as soon as the medical is complete.
It takes less than a minute to complete.

But some still dont though, mine didnt they waitied until all the results were back and then sent mine off and sent me the form, so yes they should do it, but they dont always.

I got mine right away - I cant' think of why they wouldn't. It doesn't really make a difference if the results are back or not - you'd think it'd just require you to come back in, not change too much. Hmm.

Don't give them the payment until AFTER getting the IMM1017  Grin

FWIW I was given my IMM1017 immediately after the physical, before doing the blood work and x-rays.
