Hi all, hope everyone is one step closer to immigrating!

My husband & I will be working through the Buffalo Visa office. We have the majority of our forms ready to be sent, with the exception of the police certificate & proof of medical examination.

At what point in the process do we have to send the aforementioned in? Will the Visa office inform us of when he is to take his exam & get the FBI clearances? Is it possible to send the general immigration forms initially, with the others to follow? I only ask this because we were previously unaware it may take 11-18weeks for the police clearances to process & we'd hate to delay things any more than necessary.

Thanks!  Smiley

Thanks for the reply!

If this means we will be forced to wait some-odd-weeks until the police certificate is sent to us by the FBI, before we get the application rolling... that will definetly set us back... Sad

Do you think we will be penalized if we send the application forms, with a letter informing the Visa office that the pc & medical forms are being processed & will be on their way shortly?

How flexible do they tend to be?
