Hello Immigration gurus,

I want some information about RPRF fees and about passport sending procedure.

I just received letter from New Delhi embassy and they want following documents;
1) RPRF fees for me and my wife (how should I send this fees with credit card details or by demand draft from bank?)
2) Medical exams (how much time it will take for doctors of USA to send it to India?)
3) Original Passport (does this means that they waived my interview? and if I am going to send My passport how long it will take to get back to me?)
I already booked my tickets for India trip on 28th dec so I hope I will get my passports b4 that time.

Thanks.

1.
MONEY ORDER
BANK DRAFT
CASHIER'S CHEQUE
If paying in U.S. funds, make your money order, bank draft or cashier's cheque  payable to: CANADIAN CONSULATE GENERAL.   Payment in U.S funds must be drawn on a bank located in the United States or the United State Postal Service
2. You should contact the respective DMP in US from where the medical will be done.

3.There is no possibility for an interview. As it is illegal to send Indian Passports out of the country by post or courier, It is not sure that you will get it back. Better you go to India and submit your passports from there to avoid any risk.

Thanks Wilson for ur reply,

As far as passport sending procedure goes, the letter from new Delhi embassy states that send ur passport with India's local address. So if I send them my passport thru' FedEx and give my home address (India) and once my parents received my passport then they can send it back to me here in USA with my friend or relative. Will it be possible?

Hello Wilson... Just need more info about RPRF...!!

BTW I sent my passport to India with my uncle and gave her authorization letter to carry my passport across border for immigration purpose.,, so that problem is solved.

I am also done with my medicals today...!

Now I have to make Demand Daft payable to CANADIAN CONSULATE GENERAL (RPRF)... But in which currency? Should it be in Indian Rupees as I am sending it to New Delhi Embassy or should be American or Canadian Dollars???

Thanks in advance..!!
