No way to know - it all depends on which visa office is processing your application.  Some request the passport early in the process, others not until the end.  Was this your first medical, or a redo?  Because you're supposed to send proof of medical with the initial submission of the application - otherwise it causes delays.

You can find your visa office in this list and it gives you the average processing time it takes for that office to finalize spousal applications.

Married 9'06, ap sent 3'07 & refused in 1'08 due to inadmissible son.  Appeal won 1'10.  Ap back in process 4'10, new meds requested 5'10 - submitted in June.  FBI rec'd 8'10 after 12 wks!  Approved 30Nov2010! COPR recd 05Jan2011. LANDED 31Jan2011 YAY!

Thanks Suin for the post.its been close to 2nd week now after my medical, and my wife an I were very optimistic on this.the MP office says they will call again to the embassy in manila next week,to follow up further on the delopment on my papers.you know i always check my application on e-cas and yet it keeps me frustrated coz it says IN PROCESS... I dont know if CIC-MANILA bothers to update the status of our application, which in my case, obviously not.peace everyone
