Dear all members,

Please help me I am very very confused I submit my passport December first week, and my medicals expires 25th of march, and not getting any reply from embassy, what will happen if I not receive my passports till that time they will ask me for new medicals so it means I have to  wait such a long time again I am getting old just waiting and waiting. OR you think they will renew my same medicals. Please advise just relief of mind.
Waiting for your suggestion.

How do you know your medicals expire on March 25?
In my situation they extended my medicals. My medicals were performed in October 2009 and they extended the expiration to April 2011. CIC typically will allot plenty of time for you to land. I had a 2 month window, between issuance of Visa and expiration of medicals.
maybe add additional info so people can help you better. i.e. Which visa office are you using, time-line with specific dates...

the medicals are valid 1 year or until the passport expiry date (whichever is sooner)...u have to land before ur medicals expiry if not ur landing visa is not good anymore and u need to start the whole process again (the CIC guides say like that)... some lady in this forum had the same problem and she received her visa already expired...normally it should not happen, the office should ask u to redo the medicals before they stamp ur visa in the passport...

if u sent ur passport in December maybe ur visa is stamped already...contact them ASAP, fax them, call them, ask ur sponsor to contact the local MP and see what's going on...see if they actually stamped ur visa, if they sent ur passport back, etc...if they didn't stamp the visa yet, it would be better to re-do the medicals, it will take between 6-8 weeks for them to get the results but then u'll have more time to land

Hi belize,

I suggest you mail your Visa Office through the online enquiry portal. The Visa should be ready but some communication breakdown occurred. Please contact them right away with your full details. I am sure within twenty four hours, you will get a reply.

Cheers

Ours expires in June 2011. I hope that we hear something by then but as you know our visa office is a little slow.
