Hi

We have recieved letter from Buffalo saying that  we do not need to appear for the interview.  The only document they needed now from us is a medical exams.  Do anybody knows how long it takes to get PR after they get our medical Exams report.

Thanks

Depending on the complexity of the background check, 2 or 3 months.

Hi
Thanks for your answers.

Everything is done like:
No language test required ( as my husband is a native english speaker from USA)
Police and FBI check and report finshed
Interview not needed
Have permenant job in toronto, been working 2 years back.
Now they asked us to do medical exams, and so wondering how long it takes for them to make decision after they recieved medical reports.

Completed:  FBI and Police clearance, Waive interview, Waive language test, provided fund and employment letter.
Now medical exams so what is the next step after medical examination?

In addition to what PMM wrote above, if you have not yet paid the Right of Permanent Residency Fee (ROPRF), then you should be expecting CIC to request for payment of the ROPRF plus your passport for the stamping of the visa.
