Medical Examinations in NYC

Hi,

I am going to take the medical examinations here in NYC.  I would like to know:

a) any tip/advise that you might want to provide. 

b) if you live in NYC, which dr. you went to and what your experience was with them about fees and requirements. 

c) I was reading some blogs and some people say that some drs. tend to ask you for the upfront fee, but later, they want you to come back for more visits so they can charge you more.  Has anybody of you had a similar experience?
