I just want to know if we can get a medical examination done from the 'designated' practitioner b4 we apply for the visa? i mean to just speed up the process and send the medical report with the study permit application!
and if we are asked for a medical report AFTER we apply...does it usually means approval?...if the medical report is good!

No, u need a form that CHC sends you for medical. Ur visa can b rejected after medical for grounds other than medical. Medical only means ur docs are complete but they are processed after medical.

Provided you use a "designated" practitioner yes you can do your medical before - I did mine before my application was sent in - you only have to complete the form that goes with it and you can get the practitioner to stamp the form ready for your application - CIC do not have to send you the form you can get this off the internet on their website!
