Is it legal to take the medical Exam in Canada if one does not live in Canada?  Will the results be recognized at all?

It's legal to have the medical done in Canada, but it can cause you problems later.  For instance, if you go to Canada and get the medical done, but there are follow-up tests, you have to go back to the same doctor.  If you normally live in the U.S. or another country, then going back to Canada for follow-up tests can be expensive, assuming you can even get back in the country.
