Hi

You can not take medical exam before marriage. In sponsorship application, you have to send medical exam report along with application. So once you get married, book DMP's appointment.

Hope this helps.

You CAN take the medical before the marriage.

how does the medical even work. I know how to go get one and all that, but what do they give you? is it a piece of paper saying you are healthy? do they give you the x rays or something?

The results are sent away, all you get is an IMM1017 form that the doctor has completed.

OH MY GOD!!....I didn't get my 1017 back.... Huh

After the medical things, the doctor just gave me the receipt and a letter stating that I did the medical exam at his clinic at 10, Aug, 2010. Then he told me that providing these paper he gave me to CIC....

Is there something wrong in the picture ??  Sad
