Hi All,
Me and my wife was requested to go for medicals. The catch is she is 13weeks pregnant, could not do the x ray..The doctor said she has to do it after the baby is born. Now is there any one living in Canada has gone through this?Huh what happens to the PR application? kindly share your experience.. Thank you all in advance.

The doctor is correct, your wife can complete remaining part of the medical but she will do her x-rays after she has given the birth. You will also need medicals of new born - as every family member has to undergo medical irrespective of he/she is immigrating or not. I will advice you to write to the VO explain them the situation in first instance. Your PR application will be put on hold till you update the embassy with new information and required documents to add baby to your application, i.e. birth certificate, update family schedule, Proof of fund and it's only possible after the birth.

Her expecting date is 2012 March. which means the application is going to be held for another 7 more months... hmmm i dont know how far this is going to screw up the application.. i guess i got no choice rather then waiting.  once again thanks

I informed VO before they asked for medicals. They put a hold on my file and I got med request when my baby was 6 months old.
