I have a little question about my medical state
I submitted my application as a special worker candidate for immgration to Quebec and now i'm waitting for my medical exam.
HI,
I'm suffering from (Polio) in my right leg but I spent longtime under medical treatement and now I can walk probably good for a lontime ,do my work normally in my field like i'm mechanical enigneer and my life looks normal
-I'd like to know if my application will be rejected because of my leg?
-If my condition may be expected to cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada ?.
thanks too much for your help and really i'm waitting for your answer to what to do

No, I don't think you will be rejected. Your leg should not be a problem. You don't need any expensive treatments for it and it's not contagious so you should be good.

It's true, I am not 100% sure, maybe about 95% sure because how could your leg cause excessive demand on the health care system? Do you need any treatments for your leg still? Will you need expensive surgeries in the future?
My medical got stuck on me having high blood pressure because they said high blood pressure can mean that you have a heart problem and will need heart surgery so I had to go to a cardiologist and prove that my heart is fine.

thanks,
but you have to know that my question means that they may refuse my application because they may think that i couldn't work under stress (it is not true) and this may cause a problem and increasing the rate of unemployement in quebec like in Egypt the think the same so it is not easy to find a job here

They will not base it on your work, only if you will require too much help from the health care system. Once you get in, getting a job is another thing. As an engineer, you need to get certified in Canada. Until you get certified, you can only work under somebody else. I met one engineer from Iran at my citizenship ceremony and he said he started in Toronto and worked there as a security guard and other jobs for 6 months. He was about to give up when he found an engineering job in Alberta. Now he's working as an engineer and hoping to start his own business.
