Hello all,

What kind of medical conditons would create problems in the immigration process? Due to a conidition at birth, my doctor here in US advised me to get surgery. It is not too serious. (Nothing like cancer or heart disease)

I want to know if such a condition would disallow me to immigrate to Canada.

Hi hilow

If it was not a serious decease so you should not be worry, a lot of people had a surgery and now they are in a very good health

I guess CIC doesn't want to accept people with high risk in order to protect Canadians from deceases contagious, such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, AIDS etc... and prevent that you became a high medical demander

Cheers
