hello all,
is it possible for by soon to be husband to have his medical done before we are married and I apply to sponsor him? Most of the approved doctors in his country are quite far away from himand he will be near a doctor in the next couple of weeks.

thank you!

Yes, he can get the medical done now, before the marriage and before the application is filed.  The DMP will send the results to the Regional Medical Centre that services the Embassy that his file will be processed at, so it will be helpful for him to be able to tell them which Embassy that will be.  Be aware, though, that the results are only valid for one year - so you don't want to get them done too far in advance.

Married Sept '06 after 4 yr LDR.  Applied via outland ap in March 2007 -  refused Jan '08 due to inadmissible adult "dependent child".  Appeal filed Jan '08; still waiting for resolution.
