medical already finished waiting for confirmation

hi there i just wanna ask for an advice my partner in work has already did his medical and waiting for his confirmation....now he want to terminate his remaining contract  or want to resign his job for the reason he has been mistreated by my employer or rather abuse in work law regulations and health reasons that no proper protections during work.

does his status for permanent residence still active or not and what else does he has to do then
