Hi,

We thought that our kids may be eligable to be Citizens due to my wife being a citizen and bill C-37, but I have been getting conflicting advice, and so I just want to clarify a few things should we indeed need to sponsor our children.

My wife is a canadian citizen, having been granted it in 2005, but was not a citizen when the kids were born.

If she has to do a family class sponsorship for me (husband), and two children, she will apply from England to the London embassy.

We want our children to start school in Canada in September, and so will want to move out there Aug 2010 at the latest.

My Question:

Can she start the sponsorship process from UK through London, and then move to Canada  WITH the children in August, (whilst I remain in UK) even if the process hasn't been completed?

I will be checking out the citizenship by descent route more closely, but want to be aware of our options if sponsorship is the way we have to go.

Many Thanks for any answers.
