Do you think voting Liberal will chnage our luck? Will they have better immigration policy in terms of faster processing time?

not likely.  They'll just increase the bureaucracy and make the processing times longer.

Just remember the long gun registry.

I think you'll find that the Tories, if they got a majority mandate, would be able to reduce processing times by trimming the fat from the government bureaucracy.

I'm completely annoyed that there is an electing coming up at all... I mean... how dare they do this when I'm in the middle of trying to get my husbands immigration application approved... haha.

seriously though... I am hoping for status quo... hoping for minimal waves... hoping that the fewer changes will result in no more red tape than there already is...

I vote to postpone the election for a year!! yeah!! that's it!!

/sigh

I agree. This election is unnecessary.

Maybe voting should be mandatory?

There would need to be an extra candidate choice "none of the above".

Then they would get a real opinion.

Good one Baloo! But I think conservatives will be back again. 4 weeks is not enough time for Canadians to make decisson.
