MAY 2011 Application- Process and Timeline

Hello,
I am mechanical engineer by profession (NOC 2132) & have permenant job offer from one of the employer in Ontario. I have received positive LMO for the same & got my work visa issued from delhi recently till 08/2014. I am planning to travel to Canada within two months from now. Could any one you guy please let me know if i should apply for PR under FSW category with arranged employement from New delhi before i go to Canada or i should first go to Canada start working there & then apply for PR under FSW with arranged employement from Canada? Which option would have less processing time? Also, If I apply for PR in FSW from New Delhi, Will i be able to travel to Canada on work visa i received within two months of time from now? It can be a short-lived fault in the system......

Hello Guys,

How's life? it's been few months.. I need your info.. We've done our first landing in Canada on May 1 and left Canada on May 12. Our friend in canada receives the PR cards now. They only received the PR card of the principal applicant -my huband & pr card of my son. & mine is not yet delivered? what you think?

Is there a website where we can ask why? or wait for some time

Dear Gaurav,

My advise is: First go to Canada, then apply for PR. Use Buffalo VO applying for PR under FSW. Moreover, new application is paused right at this moment.

new applications are pased at the moment, but you can stil apply since you have arranged employment in canada

I ve a great news to share with you guys! We got our visas yesterday. Actually I was very much upset due to dalay in the process after birth of my child and I did not interact much in this forum. Anyways, now we have it and I wish every member of this forum for a very smooth passage in the process.

some times,VO ask both current/valid PP and old/expired passport along with MR or ppr2....some times only current PP.we could not predict this exactly...so its better to complete the formalities...

if you are currently in india,

1)pls lodge a complaint in the nearest police station ...and get a FIR/lost certificate from them..
2)prepare an affidavit about the same from First class judicial magistrate/Govt of India Notary
3)publish an advertisement regarding loss of old passport in one or two national daily(local language and english)

these three documents is need to submit(for justification) in VO ,if they ask for old passport

hope this will suffice ur requirement..
