I was diagnosed for TB last yr but on lower borderline n chest x-ray was normal. I took medication for 6 months. Is is safe to tell no to DMP for TB if he asks for previous history?? and how much details does DMP asks? plz reply regards, kg |

Hi, KG Its always best to be honest. BUT there is a problem in diagnosis by the doctors sometimes. MANY MANY other diseases can mimic TB, in our parts of the world, doctors seeing any sign of related or similar disease, just JUMP on to TB band wagon. Reason being it being common, and the other is lack of facilities, or cost of the investigations involved, and last but not the lease doctors being incompetent, or not caring to go further. SO IF you are 100% sure you had TB then you can tell. BUT if there is doubt just let the Doctor see what is there inside you .... They are gonna do COMPLETE tests, Blood work, Urine, Chest X-Ray etc. IF there is TB then there might/should be some characteristic changes in the chest X-Ray, so they will know. And will do further tests to rule out if its active or not...If not you will still be ok. So to tell you to lie is not a good thing to say, as Honesty pays. BUT off course if you are 100% sure, then you should proceed. Believe me TB, many times, is OVER and WRONGLY DIAGNOSED in our parts of the world. As per my knowledge, TB is not "Inadmissible" disease. So no worries. BEST OF LUCK. |

My status on e cas turned to In Process on 5 december. On 12 december i sent visa office an email to request an update regarding my case. On 14 december they sent MR/ RPRF and i received on 15 december by regular mail. Please let me know if you need any other information.

Dear Rajdoot, Wish u for a smooth move ahead. Did they ask you for the updated proof for the funds? When did you inform the birth of baby? i mean before getting MR......or after?  My case is ....we first got the MR/PRPF/PCC/PPR on 28 November and the baby was born on 1st December. I informed NDVO via CSE 4th of December but I had not attached any supporting docs. NDVO has not yet responded to me regarding the birth of new child. We (my spouse and me) have booked for medicals for 17 December, the deadline for submission is 17 January 2012.First, I will send the birth certificate and photo for the baby and wait for their response. The other thing in my case is .....I lived in Sweden for 2 years and I had submmited my PCC from Sweden before which was older than 3 months at the time of submission. So they have asked for new one again and I am waiting to get that from Sweden. They have asked PCC for me only for all my stays in all countries/state for more than 6 months but did not ask for PCC for my spouse (who is primary applicant) I m a bit confused |

Yes, if VO had doubt about they would have requested for additional docs. It is safe to assume that they only need the PCC in order to issue you with MR. Send it and you receive the MR. Good luck!
