Folks,
How long will the New Delhi VO take to process the visa stamping once the Passport is sent by mail? I saw in some other forum it might take upto six weeks to get the PP back? Has anyone heard or know about this timeframe?

Hi Folks, Address has gone Missing Lets hope something gives.....  Keeping all fingers crossed Hello Mr. D.himself: :-) I see from your profile that you got your MR on 28th Sept from London VO. Does this date appear in your Ecas? Also, how did you receive this MR? By email or snail mail? I am a post July 2011 applicant with VO London. We turned In Process on E-cas as soon as we got PER. Without going RBVO. Also, since the last two days I have an additional line when i open up my status that says:
We started processing your application on November 22nd, 2011. It doesn't say "we reviewed and started" it just says "we started processing". So does this mean they started background checks on November 22nd or does it mean thats my MR date? What do you think from your recent experience?! Thanks in advance for your time! |

Hi all Mayians, Its really happening......please check your e-mail frequently. I got MR/PPR, PCR yesterday in my email (pdf files attached). I am May 12 applicant.....I need to submit the docs at NDVO no later than Jan 17, 2012. Actually, we are expecting our first baby on coming thursday (planned delivery).. and medicals, PP (for new born) ...everything takes longer now......But its time to share this moment , we are blessed loads this week............. |

No dear, no eCAS update regarding meds, just In-Process and then got a Letter in Post after 2 weeks or so. Also, how did you receive this MR? By email or snail mail? Postal Mail, aka snail mail

My line was/is: Your application was reviewed and we started processing on September xx, 2011.My head says, that the In-Process starts and they go through the File in details. SO if the application Pack is complete, they send Medicals.. The timeline for my medical letter was around 4-5 days later than the in process status. IF something is missing, they will ask for that and off course that will lead to delay. No one is sure of the inner workings though. Anyways seems like you are on your way. BEST OF LUCK. |
